Is a singer, actor, drummer, spreadsheet guru, mom and baker extraordinaire! Judi has been with Christmas Matters since 1995. Though classically trained, she enjoys singing and acting all around Los Angeles in many different avenues and many different styles. Favorite roles: (Ursula *three times) The Little Mermaid, (Narrator) Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, (Martha) The Secret Garden, (Mrs. Paroo) The Music Man, (Jack’s Mother) Into the Woods, (Meg Boyd) Damn Yankees, (Queen of the Night) Die Zauberflöte, (Adele) Die Fledermaus. She has sung and recorded with the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Favorite choral works: soloist for Mozart’s Requiem and Vesperae solennes de confessore, Bach’s Mass in B-minor and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Baby Doe in The Ballad of Baby Doe.

is an NYC based singer/actor/writer/director with a BA in Theatre from Smith and an MFA in Playwriting and Screenwriting from Point Park University. TV/film: Mad MenWilfred, Strong MedicineFireflyStonerville, and recurred with Emma Stone on the 2004 VH1 series, In Search of the Partridge Family. Favorite Theatre: Laureen/Therapist in Divorce! the musical (Ovation nominee), Rosabella in The Most Happy Fella, Gina in A Ring in Brooklyn, Polly Peachum in The Threepenny Opera(Garland nod), Sooze in Suburbia, Sally Bowles in Cabaret. She also sang 1st soprano with jazz quintet Crescendo. Gabi is also a writer of musicals, plays, screenplays, and other things. Her musical, City of Light, was her play Pot Odds was produced at the 2017 and 2022 SheNYC Summer Theatre Festival respectively. Her musical iWish has been produced multiple times in the LA area. Most recently she directed The Flick, starred in The Lifespan of a Fact, and currently she can be seen in (and see one of her plays) in  the 29th Annual Jersey Voices, all at the Chatham Playhouse. Click here to find out more, if ya want.

Allen Barstow (Tenor)

is thrilled to flex his musical muscles with Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers. He studied Theatre at El Camino College and Film at CSUN, and continues to explore both passions in front of and behind the scenes. He has studied improvisation with The Groundlings and classical theatre with Antaeus and The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. If he had a niche, it would be with Shakespeare; in recent years, he played Nick Bottom, Lord Capulet, and Banquo in various productions with House of Bards. Favorite musical theatre credits include Forever Plaid (Jinx), Forum (Hero), Once on this Island (Daniel) and, just recently, Mary Poppins (Bert). Allen is also an acting/audition coach and is ordained to officiate your wedding!

Robert Born (Tenor)

is an LA based actor who studied musical theater at UC Irvine. He is excited to be singing Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers ! He would have most recently been seen spreading the holiday cheer through Glendale Center Theater’s production of a A Christmas Carol where he played Fred. To date, his favorite roles include: Prince Erik in little Mermaid, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, and Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night. 

Claire Broderick (Alto)

is a composer, balladeer, and a mom. Claire has been performing in Southern California since their first appearance on a local talk show as an infant model. A scholar of many different music styles, Claire’s two favorite styles to sing are Irish folk music, and Christmas carols. Coming from a musical family, they have fond memories of gathering around the piano to sing at Christmas Parties year after year. Claire loves to create that sense of childlike wonder they had for others, spreading cheer and light during the darker months of the year. When not donning their hoop skirts, Claire can be found singing with one of her bands, The Merry Wives of Windsor or The Mary Sues.

is a SAG-AFTRA actor/singer and lover of all things Christmas! Originally from Virginia, Lauren received her BFA in Acting from Oklahoma City University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts. Along with numerous films and commercials, some of Lauren’s favorite musical credits include performing with the Los Robles Master Chorale and premiering multiple new musicals to include Manson’s Girls, Broadway Noir, and City of Light. is a SAG/AFTRA studio singer from Louisville. Film work includes: Frozen, La La Land, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Lucy in the Sky, Star Trek: Beyond, Secret Life of Pets 1 & 2, Life on Earth, Superintelligence, Wreck-it Ralph, Sing, Bridge of Spies, Oblivion, Despicable Me 2. TV: The Simpson’s, Emmy-nominated PBS special Richard Sherman: Songs of a Lifetime, The Tonight Show, Marvel’s The Punisher, Gilmore Girls, That ’70s Show, Home Improvement. Jim has been with the Dapper Dans of Disneyland over 25 years. His group The Perfect Gentlemen performs on tours, cruise ships, educational school shows. Arranging work for Disney, Fox Searchlight, Warner Bros.  He lives in Yorba Linda with his wife Valerie, twins Olivia and Eleanor.

is a founding member of CMHC and has sung in dozens of Southern California bands and choirs over the years including Foothill Master Chorale, Cantori Domino, Bill Locke Singers, South Coast Singers, and Merry Wives of Windsor, to name a few.  In addition to singing, Cinda also loves theatre. She is a charter subscriber to the Geffen Theatre, and relished the opportunity to play Oliver’s Nancy and Sweet Charity’s Nikki in community theatre productions. While running and Pilates keep her physically fit, it is caroling that feeds her soul. It is her passion.  You’ll be hard-pressed to find a holiday carol Cinda doesn’t know!

Liliana Castelblanco (Soprano)

is a classically trained singer and holds a Master of Music degree from Peabody Conservatory at Johns Hopkins University.  Her favorite roles include Papagena from Mozart’s The Magic Flute and La Musique from Charpentier’s Les arts florissants.  As a voice over artist she can be heard narrating articles and audiobooks in both Spanish and English.  She is also a beloved pediatrician in the community, having completed her pediatric residency at UCLA.  As a California native, she believes that the Los Angeles sunshine is the perfect weather for holiday caroling!  She currently enjoys singing as a member and frequent soloist in the Santa Clarita Master Chorale and is thrilled to be part of Christmas Matters!  www.lilicastelblanco.com

is very excited and thankful to get the opportunity to use his voice to spread Christmas cheer for y’all! This is his first year singing with the Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers (actually his first year singing professionally with Carolers in general). This is his second Christmas in LA, he hails from Denver CO, and has an AA in Musical Theater Performance from Casper College. For many years he has held a deep love of singing for people (even if they didn’t ask for it), but what he loves more is collaborating with our many talented voices to create this musical memory for your family this season. He’d like to give thanks personally to David and MJ for all of their love and support.

is a Malaysian who began her career as a Chinese Folk Song singer and was discovered when she was 9. She then began classical vocal training and has since won over 35 first-prize awards from vocal competitions around the globe including Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, Hong Kong, Hungary, and China. She came to the US with a full scholarship to Louisiana State University, graduating magna cum laude ( BA and a Masters in Music). Favorite roles: Adele, Die fledermaus; Héro, Béatrice et Bénédict; Zerlina, Don Giovanni; Anna I, Die sieben Todsünden; Ynold, Impressions de Pelléas; Musetta, La Bohéme; Adina, The Elixir of Love; La Princesse, L’enfant et les Sortilèges; Erste Dame, Die Zauberflöte; Susanna, Le Nozze di Figaro; Papagena, Die Zauberflöte and Gianetta, L’elisir d’amore.

Saunder Choi (Tenor)

is a Los Angeles-based Filipino composer and choral/vocal artist who writes contemporary classical concert music, jazz and pop arrangements that have been performed by the USC Thornton Symphony, Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Philippine Madrigal Singers, L.A. Choral Lab, among others. He was the commissioned composer for the Andrea Veneracion International Choral Festival, 1st prize winner in the American Prize for (student) Choral Composition, and finalist for the 2012 and 2015 ASCAP Morton Gould Young Composer Award. Saunder has sung all over the world including the Philippine Madrigal Singers, and currently sings with the L.A. Choral Lab and is the choir director at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in NoHo. is an actor, singer, writer, and amateur mathematician. Originally from North Carolina, she earned her BFA in Acting from Texas State University and is a brand-new transplant from NYC to LA! is a California native. He began singing and writing music at the age of 5. In 2016 he earned his BA in Drama from UC Irvine. Troy enjoys long walks on the beach, a nice Irish Mule and the simple pleasures of playing with all of the dogs. Troy’s first memory of being on stage is from when he joined Van Halen during their Balance Tour. After introducing them in true rebel child fashion, the thunderous applause of the 18,000-person audience may have caused him to freeze up, resulting in him having to be carried offstage by a member of the band. Despite this, it was still love at first sight. Favorite roles include: Baker (Into the Woods), Billy Crocker (Anything Goes), and Hot Blades Harry (Urinetown).

is a professional singer and the Founder/CEO/Vocal Instructor of www.empoweredsingingla.com in LA. Hailing from Porterville, California, she could be seen at 18 months old with her mother, breaking into song in the local grocery stores. “You Are My Sunshine,” and “Winnie the Pooh” were the most requested numbers by her audience. She studied classical voice at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University Bloomington, where she sang as a chamber soloist for the Early Music and Contemporary Music Departments. Lauren loves music of all genres and has sung 1940s/50s jazz, pop covers, and musical theater for several notable venues, including House of Blues, The Viper Room, and many others.

is a professional singer and actress. Originally from Houston, Texas, Kristyn holds her B.F.A. in Acting from Oklahoma City University. Having performed with numerous Shakespeare companies across the nation, some of her favorite roles include Stella in A Streetcar Named Desire, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, and Irina in The Three Sisters. began performing at age 6 and hasn’t stopped yet. From Dallas, TX, she got two B.A.s, in Musical Theater and in Radio/TV/Film from Texas Christian University. She works in the Legal Dept. at Disney Channel, (Disney Channel Original Movies and the Radio Disney Music Awards.) Before moving to LA, she worked as a voiceover artist for Radio Disney for five years, recording national commercial spots, tags, and conducting celebrity interviews. She is the lead zombie, Morgan in Zombodies on Disney XD, and can be heard singing in the film The Lutefisk Wars or at the Dolphin Show/Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta. She is a member and soloist at her choir at Bel Air Church for about 8 years.

is an award-winning actor and musician (1996-1999 outstanding soloist at the Santa Barbara and Reno Jazz Festivals, 2015 Simi Valley Cultural Arts Foundation Artist of the Year) who has performed in dozens of musical theater productions in LA and Ventura Counties. A musician/comedian first, Nick never realized he had a talent for singing until he auditioned for jazz choir in his junior year of high school and never looked back, winning competitions from San Francisco to New York City. Fave stage credits: Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical, Lancelot in Spamalot, The Blind Hermit in Young Frankenstein, Franklin Hart Jr. in 9-5 the musical, and The Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors. made his debut with the Los Angeles Opera Summer Program as Joseph in Friedl and Dog Fido in Brundibár, (both composed in WWII concentration camps.) He studied at the Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music at Chapman U and received his Masters in Voice at the Chicago College of Performing Arts, Roosevelt U. Highlights: Buff in The Impresario and Le Fauteuil/Un Arbre in L’enfant et les Sortilèges, Don Pasquale, Alidoro, Frère Laurent, and Dr. Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro with Opera Chapman. During the Britten Centenary, Ben performed in the War Requiem at Walt Disney Concert Hall and Segerstrom Hall. Ben is music director for the City of Beverly Hills’ Catskills West Theatre Arts Camp.

began her professional music career at the age of seven, performing Scottish songs in English and Gaelic with her family. She later discovered a love of musical theater, 16th century madrigals, and modern jazz. So when the opportunity arose to combine singing, theater and her other love, costuming, she couldn’t resist joining Christmas Matters in 2007, and she’s been caroling ever since! Christina lives in Irvine with her husband and son.

is a multi-passionate Californian who grew up in Orange County and currently resides in LA. Her appreciation of choral music began in high school when she sang with Irvine High’s Treble Choir, Chorale, Irvine Singers and Jazz Choir. Her love of theater began in middle school when she performed in her first musical and continued throughout her educational career. During her time at UC Irvine she participated in the New York Satellite Program and in 2015 she graduated with a BA in Drama. Favorite roles include: Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, and singing in the Nun Choir in The Sound of Music. She occasionally galivants around having the most fun as Winifred Sanderson during Halloween time and she cannot wait to be caroling with this lovely group of humans for the Holiday season! Some of her favorite theatrical credits include Lily St. Regis in Annie, Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Patsy in Crazy For You, and 7 consecutive years in Glendale Centre Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol (Belle/Christmas Past/Charwoman). is a Burbank based professional vocalist and music teacher who holds a BM in Vocal Performance and a BA in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fullerton. Despite her deeply classical and operatic training at CSUF, Kiana also enjoys singing in a variety of genres, especially musical theater and pop. Her favorite roles from the stage include Zita in Gianni Schicchi/Buoso’s Ghost, The Witch in Hansel und Gretel, Mimi in RENT, Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, and The Witch in Into the Woods. Kiana also spends time in the studio as a recording artist. She releases her own music, collaborates with rapper Philasifer and appears on the Lilly’s Light: The Movie soundtrack. is into his ninth year singing with the LA Master Chorale. As a session singer, his voice can be heard somewhere in the mix of film and TV projects including Deadpool 2, The Simpsons, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, War For The Planet Of The Apes, Jersey Boys, and many others. In the video game Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Todd sings two Candy Perk songs in Zombie Mode! He has performed in various musical theatre productions, the 1996 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony in Atlanta, GA and with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Elton John and Rick Astley. is an American vocalist, actor, musical theatre director, and teaching artist.  Her super powers are napping and teaching music and theatre to young people.  She sings regularly with Los Angeles Master Chorale and Pacific Chorale and has recorded five projectsFavorite performances include Simmons and Howard’s The Importance of Being Earnest: A Wilde New Musical; Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti; and Bach’s B Minor Mass;  Never will she refuse dark chocolate, hiking, a chance to travel, or a well-told story.

the daughter of gospel choir directors, began singing as a child and never stopped. She received the Herb Alpert Music Award, and studied classical voice at The Boston Conservatory of Music and theatre at London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. Fave stage credits: Flaemmchen in Grand Hotel and The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,  The Burning Opera LA (for which she also played bass and piano) and Louis and Keely: Live At The Sahara (Keely Smith at The Geffen Playhouse.) She’s been a session singer, a singer for 2 rock bands (Sparks,) and sings for a project called The Tight Family. She teaches piano, voice, music, Shakespeare, dialect coaches, and does Community Outreach at her theater company Sacred Fools.

John Kilpatrick (Bass)

is a 25-year plus veteran of Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers and a founding member. As a high school theatre director and professional actor he has directed, designed and performed in over one hundred plays and musicals since 1976. After earning his BA and Teaching credentials from Cal Lutheran University, he was inducted into the California Thespian Hall of Fame in 2005. After years of serving on the CA Thespian State Board, he retired from teaching in 2007 and now works as a commercial actor and singer. With the Westminster Presbyterian Choir of Westlake Village, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Hayden Festival in Vienna, and aboard the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

is a SAG/AFTRA Singer, Voice Over Artist, Vocal Teacher and Music Director originally hailing from NJ. She started her professional career in the Theatre and Opera having done many Regional, Touring and NY based Plays and Musicals, including singing Classical music at the Ernen Musicdorf Fesival in Switzerland, before moving to LA and entering the Film, TV, VO and Session world. She is Section Leader and a member of the Metropolitan Master Chorale, in the Cabaret Duo: The Happenstances and is currently the Music Director at Village Arts Theatre Program. Melissa is thrilled to have another festive season with Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers.

Benjamin Lopez (Tenor)

has always loved performing since childhood. He became active in theater and choir in high school, and continued studying music at CSU, Fullerton. At CSUF, he toured and sang at acclaimed events, including three of Andrea Bocelli’s Christmas concerts, and Eric Whitacre’s Paradise Lost: Shadows and Wings. Other favorite credits include: Les Miserables, Footloose, The Gondoliers, The Mikado, and LA Opera’s Jonah and the Whale. Benjamin has served at St. Pius V’s music ministry for over a decade as a cantor, section leader, and choral director. He currently sings with the Laguna Beach Chamber Singers as a tenor section leader, and is also part of the Pacific Chorale of Orange County, CA.

A 6’ 2” former collegiate athlete, Rachael is an award-winning performer and filmmaker. On screen, she recently appeared as Judith opposite Jon Rudnitsky, Anders Holm and Andy Favreau on Mindy Kaling’s new NBC comedy Champions. She also recurred as Josie on Tina Fey’s Emmy-nominated series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. This summer, she will debut the role of Jason’s Mom in Michael Leoni’s new play FAMOUS in West Hollywood.  Under RM Productions, she has worked with talent such as Gina Hecht (Seinfeld), Rob Brownstein (Argo), and James Kyson (Heroes). A classically trained tenor from Compton, Bobby started singing at a young age but really found his passion for the stage performing at El Camino College. He continued his training at UC Irvine where he graduated with a BMus in Classical Voice. While at Irvine, he had the privilege of working with composer Christian Dubeau who composed a song cycle for him entitled The Human Seasons. Bobby loves every opportunity to sing and is happy to join Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers this season.

is a SAG-AFTRA actor, singer, songwriter, and California native. His favorite stage roles include The Beast in Beauty and the Beast (Orpheum Theatre) and Billy Bigelow in Carousel (NYC). He is the soloist at First Church Christ Scientist in Malibu and a regular performer at New Musicals Inc., including in the world premiere of Hell’s Kitty The Musical as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Marcello also co-wrote an original musical called Venice Beach and is currently working on new music. He is thrilled to join Christmas Matters for his first season!

Aviva Pressman (Soprano/Alto)

is an actor, singer, Clown, calligrapher, voiceover artist and artistic director who has performed all over the country. She’s back to Christmas Matters after several years as Mrs. Claus on the national tour and Madison Square Garden productions of Rudolph: The Musical. Most recently she was seen at South Coast Repertory in Amos and Boris or heard as the lead on Stan Lee’s The Reflection anime. Her voice can also be heard in commercials, other animes, and even a children’s toy you might have at home. Chag Sameach to all and to all a good night!

Evan Roberts (Tenor)

A native of Pasadena, Evan is an avid choral musician in the LA area, performing and conducting with many of LA’s premiere ensembles. He currently works as the Choral Director at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), and also maintains a vocal studio at College of the Canyons in Valencia. Evan recently moved back to LA after completing two Masters’ degrees, in Music Education Research from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, and in Choral Conducting from California State University: Los Angeles. While  at the Jacobs School, Evan sang with many choral ensembles: NOTUS, Concentus Early Music Ensemble, Bloomington Bach Cantata Project, Conductor’s Chorus, All-Campus Choir, and two opera choruses of Falstaff and the H.M.S. Pinafore. Evan enjoys performing different musical styles, playing keyboard, bass, and singing background vocals for local Pasadena-based bands. 
Rene Ruiz (Bass)

conceived, directed and performed with the Off-Broadway acappella theatre show TOXIC AUDIO. It won the 2004 New York Drama Desk Award for “Unique Theatrical Experience”. He has worked as an announcer, show director and vocalist for the Walt Disney World Co., Universal Studios Florida, Six Flags New England, Kennywood and Hershey Park. He works as a consultant and clinician for vocal groups across the country. As a voiceover artist, he has narrated numerous audiobooks, documentaries, corporate videos and commercials. He can currently be seen in a national spot for Progressive Insurance.

Melissa Sakrison (Soprano)

is a singer, actress, and teacher from Southern California. She has performed at Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Renaissance Faires, and other SoCal venues. Some of her favorite roles include: the Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, Madame de la Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast, Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables, and of course her 3 years as a Skipper on the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland. While she has caroled before, she is thrilled to begin her first season with Christmas Matters. She believes that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and can’t wait to start spreading holiday magic this season!

Steven Schwadron (Tenor)

has worked extensively as an actor and musician on the East and West coasts.  On Broadway, he’s performed in On Your Toes.  TV and film credits include CheersSafe Passage, and Meet the Applegates.  He can also be heard singing at local Renaissance Faires, Celtic Festivals, music halls, coffee houses and pubs. He currently devotes his time to two bands, singing, writing songs, and playing mandolin, bass and harp in The Poxy Boggards and Three of a Kind. He has been with Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers since 1998.

Jini Scoville (Alto)

Having grown up a show choir kid, Jini studied Vocal Performance, Vocal Jazz, and Music Education at the University of North Texas.  During college, she toured with UNT’s prestigious A Cappella Choir.  She went on to become a Production Vocalist for Holland America, Carnival, Princess, Asuka II, Regent, and Oceania cruise lines. Some of Jini’s favorite musical theater projects include originating the leading role of ‘La Pelona’ in Tree of Hope – The Frida Khalo Story at MACHA Theatre in West Hollywood, as well as a stint as the ‘Queen of The Blues’ in Tokyo DisneySea’s incredibly popular Big Band Beat! Currently working for Radio Disney, Jini is creating two solo cabaret shows, as well as enjoying time on land. Jini is so excited to spread holiday cheer with Christmas Matters!

Andrew Sear (Bass)

is ecstatic to be performing with Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers. He is new to LA hailing from Dubuque, Iowa where he was born and raised. He has a BA in Psychology from Concordia University Wisconsin, and wanting to put that degree to good use became a Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through ISSA. Having graced the stage in many performances his favorites include Sebastian (Little Mermaid), Jason (Medea), and Terrance (Sound of Waves Crashing Against an Island of Glass). When not acting he has been an avid singer, performing with the award winning collegiate choir Kammerchor, and performing as well as beatboxing with the Master Singers of Milwaukee and the Angel City Chorale. 

Katy Shea (Alto)

is a singer, drummer and a mom. Katy plays drums in As If, a 90s cover band based in Los Angeles. She has played drums, keys and sung with many local bands over the years. Her favorite drumming role was in “Stephanie Tanner’s girl band” on season 2 of Fuller House on Netflix. In addition to her love of pop/rock music, Katy is a classically trained vocalist. Her love for classical music began at age 10 with the Cleveland Orchestra Children’s chorus, where she had the privilege of singing with the world famous Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall. She holds a bachelor’s of Media Music with a vocal emphasis from Brigham Young University. Katy is also a music teacher who has a true passion for working with children. When Katy is not practicing her music or teaching, she enjoys watching her boys play baseball and soccer, and even coaches little league baseball with her husband. Katy is truly passionate about Christmas carols and is excited to be a part of the CM Holiday Carolers!

Michael Sheets (Bass)

has been a member of CMHC since 1998.  He grew up in Portland, Oregon, performing in productions of My Fair LadyArsenic and Old LaceHarveyA Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Corn is Green, The Actor’s Nightmare and Love’s Labours Lost.  At age 19, he toured the U.S. as Master of Ceremonies/Auctioneer for The Ritz Entertainment Fashion AuctionShow in Las Vegas.  After moving to Los Angeles, he earned a B.A. in Theater Arts (acting) from CSU, Northridge (with Honors,) and went on to earn his Single Subject English teaching credential and a M.Ed. in Education from National University.  He has performed in numerous theatrical productions and has been teaching Theater and English for the Long Beach USD since 2002.  He lives in Long Beach with his beautiful wife and two wonderful children.

has been performing professionally in the Los Angeles area for over 20 years. Classically trained at the University of Southern California, Susan has a very flexible voice that can adapt to any style of music. She has appeared in over 30 musicals and operas. Her favorite roles include Vivienne Kensington in “Legally Blonde”, Shelia in “A Chorus Line”, and Golde in “Fiddler on the Roof”. She teaches music and theatre full time at the high school level and loves to help young people find their passion for music and theatre.

is a singer, musician, and actor from Boise, Idaho and has been on stage from a young age. A graduate of theatre arts from Southern Utah University, Spencer has performed in dozens of plays, musicals, choirs, and bands. His talents have sent him all over the world, including being in the opening team of the Frozen musical at Shanghai Disneyland and performing as a pop/rock vocalist with bands all over China, Thailand, and Japan. Spencer has a passion for singing and wants to keep sharing his talents with the world in any way possible! 

Casey Solow Saqr (Alto)

is a graduate of the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at Cal State U, Long Beach, where she studied Classical Voice and Choral Music Education. Casey has performed across the globe as a choral singer and soloist (Carmina Burana, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Mozart’s Missa Brevis). Favorite non-choral roles include Lucy (The Telephone), Florinda (Into the Woods), Hope (Anything Goes), Nancy (Oliver!), Belinda (The Provoked Wife), and Alice (The Addams Family). She serves as musical director for the Musical Youth Repertory Theater, choral conductor for the South Bay Children’s Chorus, and directs the renowned choral program at Dolores Huerta Middle School, which has received numerous accolades and honors, and will be heading to Carnegie Hall in 2025. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and son, throwing pottery, or trying to get her dog and cat to love each other.

is thrilled to start her caroling journey with Christmas Matters Holiday Carolers!  A Los Angeles-based singer and actress, some of her favorite theatrical credits include Princess Winnifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Sister Mary Amnesia in Nunsense, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Shirley Markowitz in The Producers, Joy in Cinderella, Essie in You Can’t Take It With You and Meg Brockie in Brigadoon. When she’s not taking to the stage, she produces and directs the critically acclaimed fundraiser, Burroughs on Broadway, for John Burroughs High School which raises funds and awareness for the arts in our schools. 

David Michael Treviño (Tenor/Bass)

has been a professional vocalist for over 35 years, with church choral conducting and public school teaching experience. Presently, he serves as cantor, baritone section leader and asst. choir director at Good Shepherd Church in Beverly Hills. He’s been Christmas caroling since 2001, sings during the High Holy Days services, is a member of Jouyssance Early Music Ensemble and plays percussion in the LA Sheriff’s Concert Band. Acting credits: Castle, The History Channel’s Breaking Vegas “The Roulette Assault,” several plays and musicals. David Michael is a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA and possesses a Bachelor of Music (percussion) and a Master of Arts (vocal) in Music Education.

Joshua Valdes (Bass)

has been passionately singing for as long as he can remember. Starting in choir as a young boy, he continued his musical journey by singing in various ensembles throughout his life. From playing various operatic roles such as “Don Giovanni” and “Figaro” to singing in award winning choirs such as C.O.C’s “Just Jazz” and the BCCM Chamber Ensemble, he has a wide variety of vocal ability. Joshua has had the opportunity to sing in renowned venues such as Carnegie Hall, where he sang a solo from Mozart’s Dixit Dominus, and The Mormon Tabernacle where he was apart of the BCCM Chamber Ensemble’s debuting of the west coast premiere of Eric Whitacre’s “The Sacred Veil”. He has studied with various teachers among some of the most prestigious programs in the U.S. including CSU Long Beach, UC Los Angeles, and New York University. Joshua is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance at UCLA.

is a California native and loves staying warm on the west coast during the holidays. In 2004 he graduated from Cal State University Northridge with a B.A. in Music and a minor in Theatre. He has performed with Opera Pasadena and is currently a member of the Sacred Fools Theater Company.  He performed in Louis and Keely at the Geffen, and produced hit shows Stoneface, Louis and Keely, Absolutely Filthy, and Astro Boy and the God of Comics. He would be nothing without his beautiful wife, who is talented and great and good at writing bios for him.

is a certified massage therapist and a graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a BFA in Theater. Past credits include: Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik) at Summer Repertory Theater; Guys & Dolls (Sky Masterson) at West Valley Playhouse; Lucky Stiff (Harry Witherspoon) at Hillcrest Center for the Arts; Into The Woods (Narrator/Mysterious Man) with Performance Riverside. Most recently he played Sir Galahad in Spamalot at the Conejo Players Theatre. John can often be seen in productions and workshops with the Academy for New Musical Theater and at various piano bars throughout Los Angeles.

graduated from Cal State Long Beach with his Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance. He enjoys craft cocktails, mystery novels, true crime TV shows, and the perfect cup of coffee. In fact, he isn’t interested in any TV show unless someone gets bumped off at some point. Since caroling only comes once a year, he spends the rest of his time singing with the Long Beach Camerata Singers, performing with the Long Beach Landmark Theater Company, and trying to prevent his cat from escaping his apartment.

Taylor Watkins (Bass)

is a singer, flutist, and software engineer in the Los Angeles area. He has been a musician since the ripe old age of 5, first studying piano before finding his passions in flute and singing. While studying for his degree in music at James Madison University in Virginia, he toured extensively with various choirs throughout the east coast, England, Ireland, and Wales. Since moving to the Los Angeles area, he has performed with several local choral groups, including the Nova Vocal Ensemble performing music only by living composers.
